Qatayef Dough Recipe

Ingredients:

2 and a half cups of flour

1 teaspoon instant yeast

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon sugar

2 cups of water

Quarter teaspoon of salt

A tablespoon of vegetable oil

Method:

1- In a deep bowl, mix the flour, yeast, baking powder, sugar and water until you get the desired consistency, then stir the mixture, cover and leave for at least an hour or until the dough increases in size.

2- Grease a pan with vegetable oil, stir the mixture and pour about 2 tablespoons of the dough into the pan

3- Leave it in the pan until it is cooked, then put it in the dish.

4- Stuff it with your favorite ingredients and fry in oil.

5- Then put it in the syrup and filter it.

6- Place the katayef on a serving plate and serve with tea or coffee.
